Are you tired of losing to your friends in first person shooters? Well here is a guide for the first person shooter game, War Rock, (warrock.net) that will help you get better and finally show your friends your true skill in games.
“I am very inexperienced in shooting games and I would like to know how to become better,” said Kevin Lin.
Kevin is one many people who lack the skill and experience to be professional in a shooter game.
“When I play first person shooters I always fill as if I’m not good enough, and I really hope that this guide will help me improve my gaming skills in the game War Rock so that one day I can emerge victorious,” said Jonathan Dodo.
Here are some tips for each class:
Sniper Class
Snipers are considered a pro class. I don’t recommend using a sniper for beginners because you need good aim and interpretation skills for snipers. Before you reach level 11 you should stick with the M24 sniper rifle. Always aim for the head when using this gun. Buy an MP5K, which is a good back up weapon for close quarter combat. Snipers should stay away from all the fighting and shoot from a distance, and always watch out for other snipers. When you reach level 11 you should buy the PSG-1 and stick with this sniper rifle because it is the best one in the game.
Assault Class
This is the most used class and one of my personal favorites. Assaults fight in the heart of battle. When you’re just starting out I recommend using this class. Buy an M4A1 and an MP5K as your back up gun. Never rush in with an assault, but at the same time never camp with an assault. The best strategy is to pick a route you would always go and memorize it so you know where to go and when to go there. Grenades are very helpful in this class and you should throw them at where you think the enemy is going to be at. At level 16 you should buy the FAMAS which is the best and fastest gun in the game.
Medic Class
The medic is very important in any War Rock Team. The medic can perform two tasks. It can be an assault based unit and it can also heal wounded players. If you are planning to be a hardcore medic I suggest buying a K1 at the beginning of the game. The K1 is not so fast, but it is a very strong and accurate gun. If you are planning to buy a membership for War Rock you should buy a medic kit and an MP7. The MP7 is the medic’s best gun and the medic kits come in handy when you are short on time and need a quick heal.
Heavy Trooper Class
I don’t recommend using this class in Close Quarter Combat, but rather in Urban Ops, or Battle Groups. If you do decide to use the class in Close Quarter Combat you should buy the RPG-23 and the MP5K as a back up weapon. The RPG can kill someone in one shoot if aimed at the body. When using this class in Close Quarter Combat you should aim at where you think the person is going to be if he is moving. The RPG is a great way to take out snipers. When aiming at something far away aim a little it above their head because during flight the rocket lowers.
Engineer Class
This class I made for maps that contain vehicles because the engineer’s specialty is repairing broken vehicles. The first thing you should buy is a K1 and an MP5K. When you reach level 21 you should buy an MP7 to equip in your slot 5. Besides that and missing grenades the Engineer can basically be used the same way as an assault.
Now that you know each strategy and what weapons to buy for each class start working on places to go on each Map. There are 4 Close Quarter Combat maps. Here are some tips for each map:
Marien
This is the most used map on War Rock. The NIU side of Marien is good for assaults and medics, because the NIU side has a lot of methods for rushing the enemy base. The DERB side of Marien is good for sniping because it has a lot of good hiding spots which are almost too perfect for sniping. When playing on the NIU side it is a good idea to throw grenades into Marien hall because that is where a lot of people tend to go to.
Cadora
This is a very equal map. Both sides have equal strategies and places to go. On an overall level this is the fairest map in the game. Sniping on this map is not a good idea because it’s all building and barely any space out in the open. Assault or medic is the best bet on this map. If you’re either on DERB or NIU and you rush right then I recommend grenadine through the window.
Khyber
If you are on the DERB side then I’d recommend going sniper because both the right and left side of Khyber have a long hall. These could be perfect for mowing down rushing enemies with a sniper rifle. If you are on the NIU side and you want to avoid the snipers you should go through the middle and try sneaking up on them from behind. Watch out for other assaults on your way there.
Khali
Khali is a pretty fun map. The best place to go is towards the escalators. No one can come from the back and it’s safe to let your back be open. On the other hand it is always a good idea to watch your front. NIU and DERB both go towards the escalators so also be aware.
Now that you know everything you need to know about the classes and maps of War Rock it’s time for you to get out into the battlefield and own some nubs.
