I remember the laughter at Christmas parties.

I remember my uncle yelling "Ho Ho Ho!"

I remember my cousins acting like little smarties.

I remember the soft glistening of the falling snow.

I remember the sweet smells of Christmas Eve.

I remember the rustle of Christmas wrappings.

I remember seeing the trees bare of leaves.

I remember no more hearing of the woodpecker's tappings. 

I remember the jingle jangle of the ringing bells.

I remember my sister jokingly singing carols so very low.

I remember my uncle chasing my siblings who'd yell.

I remember saying "Hey! Make sure you get under that mistletoe!"
