              I remember the time when I was in the first grade my teacher gave me a homework packet and when I was finished with it not a single teacher checked or asked about it. I think homework should be banned because there’s no point, children don’t learn anything but boringness. Homework is not important ,you should be banned because there’s no educational purpose.

          Many comments from www.helium.com said that kids are coming to school falling asleep because of their homework.  For example, people in my school said that they stood up until 12:00 am or even 1:00 am trying to do their homework.  Children are not getting their sleep trying to figure out their homework.  Teachers should stop giving homework because it’s affecting kids. It’s also not fare how some kids have homework and some kids don’t. Even I sometimes see kids playing while I’m stuck doing homework. Children need to go outside instead of doing their homework.  If children had more time to play outside they could get exercise. Exercise makes kids healthy, no more homework today!

     Kids also need to spend more quality time with their families but here comes the homework it always blocks everything. I hate when you are going somewhere and you have homework to do still and your mom finds out, now you can’t go where you want to go.                                                                                                  

            I found a ton of websites such as www.saynotohomework .com, www.whydoteachersgivehomework.com, www.shouldhomeworkbebanned.com, www.makehomeworkathingofthepast.com and www.argumentsforandagainsthomework .com I searched them on Google.com.  From these websites I found out that homework is boring to kids, and has no academic purpose.

         I found an author that wrote a book about homework and his name was Albert Einstein he titled it Why Do Teachers Give Homework.  He wrote this book for teachers. It showed how teachers thought homework is good for you and how it can really help you. And teachers also think that it’s good for your education. They also say that homework could make you learn better.

            I found out that 99% of people said homework is good for kids and only 1% said no that we should not have any homework. Well we should all agree I hope every kid can help for homework to be banned for the rest of our lives, let homework be a thing of the past.

While these are good points I disagree. Homework has nothing to do with being healthy. Einstein’s study is very old and a new study should be made. Why are teachers following the ideas of such an old study? Students do enough hands on work in class; they do not need to do more work at home alone.

So I think we should all stand up and say no more homework. We should set up a vote and if no homework wins, all children will be excited.  No more homework today!
