It is better to give than to take.

It is better to give than to take ,that is the way of life. This theme statement relates to the book The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. In this book there is a boy and a tree. Now you will hear how this theme statement relates to a boy and the tree ,  a parent and child ,and man and the environment. With the tree and the boy ,the tree keeps on giving and the boy keeps on taking and he does not even say please or thank you. That is what’s wrong with people today, like with a parent and a child. A child and parent are related because a parent keeps on giving and a child keeps on taking. The parent also takes from the child ,like a card or a flower on Mother’s day and Father’s day.  Man plants trees so we will have plant life in our environment. People should also protect the environment by not just making paper from trees and by getting food, but also by planting  trees and protecting the environment . My opinion is  not only to take but also to give back ,not because you have to, not because the person said I’m not giving you again until you give me something back, but just by being polite. The tree gives, the boy visits , the parent gives the child  love ,so you could learn something from this theme statement.
