NEVER ENDING LOVE

Author:
Kashif H
Your love for someone or something should never end. I can relate this to many ideas in The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein, for example, the boy and the tree,a parent and child, and man and the environment. In the book, when the boy got older he forgot about the tree but the tree didn’t forget about him. The tree loved the boy so much that she gave him everything she had, including her apples. At the end of the book the tree was just a stump but the tree still loved him. This story also relates to a parent and child. The parent would use his salary for his child and family. The child sometimes says he hates him but that doesn’t say that the parent is going to hate him in return. Mothers’ favorite phrase is” It doesn’t matter what age you are, but you are still going to be my little boy”. Lastly, man and the environment. Some men love the environment so much that if a plant doesn’t grow, they would give it another chance. For example, if men move to another location they will make space for a new garden. From reading this book The Giving Tree I’ve changed. When I was younger I had a toy that I liked and then I lost it. Then I found it and threw it away. Now I realize that I was wrong to throw it away. Now I realize that your love for someone or something should never end!
