The Lorax by Dr.Seuss is a book about a boy who asked the Once-ler, "Why was the Lorax was lifted away?" He told him a whole story of what used to be his environment.  Then he trusted him with the last truffula seed.  The boy listened to what the lorax  told him about the environment.  The Once-ler was cutting down the trees.  In one tree the lorax came out and said, "I speak for the trees; don't cut them down".  The Once-ler didn't listen. He cut down all the trees, anyway.  When he was all done his environment was finished, too!

The Once-ler told the boy a true story about what he had done.  He should have listened to the Lorax. However, the Once-ler did whatever he wanted to do to make money. Afer hed was done, nothing was left in the environment--no animals or trees, not even fresh air.  The story shows that you should listen to what other people tell you about your environment because you will never know when it may help you.

Save your own environment!  Don't let other people cut down trees in your environment.  If you don't stop it, your environment may end up just like this book! Then you will need to  plant more trees to help your environment.

Don't allow people to make factories and replace trees.  If you do this you won't have much fresh air to breathe; you can die or get sick.  Factories put dirty smoke in the air and pollute the environment.  Trees give off oxygen and  make clean air to breathe.  Which would you rather breathe--fresh air or smoke?  Smoky factories pollute Earth's sweet air.  If you notice all the smoke coming from factories are black or gray.  This stops you from seeing the air around you

It's important to care about Earth by doing things like recycling and conserving.   By doing this you can also help save the earth.  The story helps me understand that I should listen when people tell me about things in my environment . I should also help them understand that they can change the environment.  Earth belong to all of us.  We must take care of it!
