Ms. Tillery's Class 601 eZine

We all got together to celebrate my brother Davaughn before he left home for the war in Iraq. He was excited to go and my family just wanted to wish him well. 

First, my mom, my uncles, aunt, cousins, brothers, sister, and I played a game called taking a Trip. We had great fun. There was laughter through the whole game. My brother James and I were the two finalists.  We got tired so we stopped playing and we ended up with a tie.

Soon after my brothers and Raesean started dancing. Then everybody joined in it. We became a big soul train. My mom took out her camera and started recording us. This evening was special to me because the main people I cared about were all together laughing, eating, and having a good time.

When we were all done dancing, everyone sat down just listening to the music. Twenty minutes later everyone had left. I put on my nightclothes and went to sleep.
