Raining Moods

When a mood rains on me, I can’t seem to hide it,

It doesn’t matter how hard I seem to try,

It feels like my body is on backwards; flipped inside out

The things that is suppose to be kept inside is out in the open, my mood seems like it’s always changing, like the traffic lights on the streets.

The world is divided into two, a dark and a bright side. The dark side has all the crimes and where some people might end up, it’s up to you to decide where side you belong to, what is mysterious? I can’t define it; to me mysterious are answers and no answers to things.

NEWS!!!! To me news changes as fast as my moods, always unexpected.

QUESTIONS, QUESTIONS, and QUESTIONS make me wonder, it makes me want to reach deep inside the earth and beyond to look for answers.

Six Boxes

It’s sunny and warm out

And I’m in school filling out six boxes

I’m thinking to myself

Poetry? Boxes? Boxes? Poetry?

I hear kids discussing ideas

Teachers giving out directions

And my head asking why I’m here

Only one word described how I felt

BORED

City Haikus

I hear birds singing

Cars and people are rushing

To nowhere at all

It is Saturday

Kids are rushing to get there

To do what they do
